Fees will be clearly laid out in advance and you will not be required to make up-front payments.

The number of sessions you need depends on the severity of the injury, your age, your fitness and how long you have been suffering for. You should start to feel some improvement within the first 1-3 sessions if you are taking the advice we give you on board.

We never require to treat anybody, however acute they may be, more than twice in the same week. We give lots of advice so that you can be helping yourself at home between sessions.

In the vast majority of cases you won’t need an X-Ray. A detailed case history and a thorough examination usually gives us all the information needed to reach a diagnosis. However in some circumstances we may need more investigation before treatment can start. These circumstances are very rare and if you are recommended to have an X-Ray or scan, we would refer you to your GP. Good clinical decision making is more important than universally x-raying all new patients.

With Bearsden Chiropractics – ALWAYS! Most Chiropractors like ourselves, will treat you in a private room. This privacy is essential for confidentiality and appropriate treatments. However, there are a few practices that use an open plan arrangement. It’s always advisable to check these.

Your chiropractor has treated you, but if you continue the lifestyle which caused the original condition, regular treatment should also continue. Prevention is much better than cure.

During a chiropractic adjustment there is a change of pressure within the joint space which may sometimes cause a bubble of gas to ‘pop’ but this sound is not significant, and does not hurt.

Chiropractic is very safe when treatment is carried out by a properly qualified practitioner. There are many way to adjust the spine. The method selected will be the best suited to your age, size and condition. Your Chiropractor is trained to recognise conditions which require referral elsewhere.

Chiropractors are best known for treating back and neck pain which we do very well, but patients also seek treatment for a range of other conditions including:

  • Neck and related shoulder pain
  • Posture and muscle problems
  • Upper and lower back problems
  • Relief for wear and tear
  • And many more. If unsure give us a quick call on: 0141 570 0090.

This will depend on:
